Arts Festival

"Having students work with creative drama and theatre in these earlier grades gives them a great advantage in their capacity for developing language skills, reading, writing, and verbal, and interpersonal skills. And all of the arts help students develop emotionally and socially, so that they are more prepared to deal with school, life, and other people."

Since 1983, scientific research has continued to verify that for developing students, the arts are more than just a fun part of a school day. Evidence indicates that arts programming teaches skills, knowledge and behaviors that are essential to becoming a successful adult.

The aim of Education is to bring certain changes and development in the students. Keeping the aim of the institution in mind, the academic schedule of the college is arranged in such a way that the students get sufficient opportunities to develop themselves through various extra curricular activities. The Arts Festival is conducted in the month of November every year. A Fine Arts Secretary is elected for the smooth functioning of the events and the students are divided into different houses on the basis of batches/courses and compete with each other. The competition includes inhouse events like essay writing, poem writing, drawing, painting etc and stage events like elocution, dance, drama etc. Our students realize that availing one self of the opportunities makes the difference and this difference may be the one which eventually turns out to be the opportunity of life – to build confidence and to let others know the potential within.
